We're a vibrant collective of artists, writers, historians, and dreamers united by a shared love of traditional animation and visual storytelling. 

Ligature Historical Filmwerke is an artist-driven creative studio that thrives on producing top-tier 2D animation and illustration for mid- to low-range budgets. We're a concept-to-delivery house, which means we provide strategic advice, script writing, and storyboarding services in addition to delivering polished animation and illustration. We pride ourselves in supporting our clients along every step of the creative process. 

Our international clients include Tricycle: The Buddhist Review, Tibet House US, The Tibet Museum: Foundation Alain Bordier, and the BBS Channel 3.  

The studio's headquarters are based in Frankfurt, Germany, with a production facility in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia.
